Dear Aspirant,

Thanks for approaching us at CareerGuide.com!

A Dietician never has a Clinic by that name. Dieticians have offices and may be also working as employee in hospitals.

A certified Dietician can very well have its own practice, formally or informally.

To be best sure of what suits you for your career, I would suggest you to undergo an online psychometric test from CareerGuide which will help you understand yourself in respect of your strengths, weaknesses, emotional quotient, etc. and will exactly tell you which stream is good for you.
You can then call counsellors to discuss.

Best wishes,

Dr. Anand Wadadekar

Hi There,

Looks like you have plans to begin on your own.

But before that, do you have the relevant experience to begin with.

As such a dietician does consultation and may be associated with many health clinics or hospitals depending on the need and availability.

As such you need to opt for a certain cause and offer consultation accordingly.

As a freelance Dietetic consultant, you can be associated with various:

  • Clinics
  • Health SPA
  • Fitness Training Institutes
  • Weight loss Clinics
  • Hospitals

As such being a Consultant, means having your own set-up

Anyways even if you have your own set-up, try and get associated with some health clinics in your area. That will help you grow.

Hopes this answers your query.

Wish you all the very best.............
