Earlier there were quite limited options for those who had an aptitude for Maths. But times have changed now

. Not only are there better options now, the options have now become interesting too! Besides the traditional and obvious options of being a Mathematician or a Statistician, you can opt for a career as Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Meteorologist, Database Administrator, Architectural Draftsman, Clinical Data Manager, Numerical Analyst, Systems Analyst, Market Researcher, Research Scientist, etc. You also have many more options in the finance world such as being a Financial Analyst, Financial Planner, Investment Manager, Business Consultant, etc. And of course, the option of teaching is always there! Best of luck!

Mathematics is a subject that is very much widely important and so from the school times parents and teachers keep on telling to be Good in Mathematics. Its one of the oldest subject that has been very widely learned and practised in the Human Civilization. There has been a lot of research and development in the field of Maths from time to time. A part of Maths like Simple Maths or Mental Maths has been very widely used in our day to day life. So definitely is also an important subject to be considered along with the other subjects. 

Its good to hear that you have been able to acknowledge your interest and aptitude towards Maths. Earlier there were very few career opportunities available for the students of the Mathematics. But with the competition in the world and development of the new career opportunities it has given a room to have a need and scope for the students of the mathematics. Mathematics has been widely used in the Science field.

 

Here are the career opportunities for the Maths Students-

1.Engineering

3.Mathematician

4.Statistician

6.Chartered Accountant

7.Banking

9.If you wish to make a career with Mathematics and Design than you can also make a career in the Architecture Design.

10. can make a career in research field with various research institutes like TATA Institute of Fundamental Research,Harish Chnadra Research Instiute etc.

11.one can also make a career in DRDO,ISRO etc.

12.Teaching or Professor

These are some of the career options from the Mathematics side. Whereas you can alos make a career in other fields like Commerce,Arts/Fine Arts. You also have an option to make a career in Off Beat Career Options like Law,Interior Designing,Jewellery Designing,Mass Communication and Advertising etc.
