A Finance Manager if has the right qualification and has acquired relevant work experience, then salary is not a constraint for such a right candidate. Qualification best seen of a Finance Manager are any one of them or in combination... CA/CFA/CWA/MBA Finance/CPA. All these qualifications are top class qualifications and are a gateway to become a good Finance Manager. However as well all know that no candidate starts his / her career direectly as a Manager. Not even an IIM MBA candidate. A candidate has to perform his best according to the organisation's goals and vision and also see through his / her own personal growth along with the oragnisations'. There is not an typical equation or an industry standard for determining a salary for a finance candidate or for that matter for a Finance Manager. Combination of the above listed top class qualifications may help a candidate to get a good high paying job right at the start of the career. But this does not happen very often for many people. 'Average' Finance Manager is not a concept. Either he / she is a finance manager or not a finance manager. Still an average finance manager in an MNC may draw a salary of around Rs. 50000 per month. Extremely qualified and experienced finance manager may get an average salary of Rs. 100000 per month. As said, salary is not a constraint for a right candidate. Averagely salary for a finance guy starts from Rs. 10000 and may go upto Rs. 150000 per month. Its better to be one of the best rather than being an average one.
