The average pay for a average security analyst is most probably between the pay package of four - five lakhs per annum. But gradually with experience you can move into high scale pay and position in the same field, the highest pay package offered in this field is to skills associated with this job of security risk management and Information security and infra structure people and the rate of job satisfaction is very high in this sector or say four out of five are highly satisfied with their job.

But again pay will vary from company to company, sector to sector either public or private, with position to position, you need to give your designation and position to know the correct answer or specific pay package of a position in security analyst job.

As so many position are there like Lead It security analyst, Senior security operational analyst, System security analyst, Siem security analyst, It security analyst, senior information security analyst etc.

With the growing cyber attacks the demand of security analyst is growing highly in the market, as certain set of skills will always increase your value in the market like wise cisco certification will help you to get a hike of more or less nine percent in the market with a additional hike of average seven percent every year.

With strong hold in your work any good inter personal skill you will always be paid more and good as per market rate and trend. There always be geographical differences in pay package as per inflation, cost of living etc.

Hope all this explain you well about the salary trend in market and pay package for a average security analyst.

Now you can access where you stand and what all you need to do to improve your skill set and get high pay package as per demand and requirements. this will give at least some sort of idea about it and help you some how way.
