What you can do is you can compare the syllabus of BSc and BCA. If you want to be a software engineer, B.E computer science will cover all the subjects required (Networking, C, C++, Java, OOPS, Operating Systems, Data structures, DBMS). But Bsc or BCA may not cover all these subjects. If you want to know which subjects are important for being as a software engineer, please call me and ask.
After knowing what subjects you need to learn (based on your interest, may be software engineer), you can decide between these two and if you want to know which subjects will be covered by BSc and BCA, you can ask students who have done that course.
The difference between the two basically comes in the focus of the study in both courses. In BSc Computer Science, you have to be more concerned about theoretical understanding of the computer and related fields, BCA course helps you to get more practical knowledge. Both are good, and you have to choose between these two based on your understanding
