Dear Friend

Your question is very crucial for me that's why you will get my answer in one line at the end of my explanation hope it will clear your confusion and will initiate your fresh and juvenile thought process:

Read the content chronologically:

1. First you forget B.A and B.Sc and also stop comparing a subject with other subject just focus on your interest, comfortability towards a discipline either humanity or sciences & technology. Again think how these subjects are revolving around our life and how it is instrumental for me or I am the instrumental of these subjects yes you will get answer that a subject is instrumental for a person which comes through the intelligent mind. This is called induction step which brings you closer to a subject with a better understanding then seed of interest emerges in the mind to take up that subject steps ahead.

2. Next level is the work-force in terms of competence, self-motivation and dedication only then you can convert your interest into the realization of any subject which is further tagged as B.A or B.Sc. Very simple to understand the kind of your subject which is experienced through your analytical mind and gives you signal to understand it more and more.

3. Very important matter--hard labor to uncover the hidden elements from that opted course which is known to you only what you sense and understand better than others and accordingly it allows you to say that I have done this I have done that with full commitment.

4. To do all these, grab the fundamental books at 12th level and read carefully your attention will be drawn as per above statements.
5. I meant to say that never chase any book or course without interest, interest lies in two ways: one is third part dependent which comes through the references which can suit you or not it is a risk and other one is the self assessment wherein you find your path on your own experience which comes through the realization and it is sustainable for career point of view.

6. Always understand that arts and sciences are not going to help you until having the eternal receptors in your mind otherwise you will be struggling with the confusion in good and bad about a subject. Subject is an instrument to help you to set any good example by defining or re-defining it with your original insight.

Best of luck

Hello My Dear...

Whether BA or BSc is better is really a unique question and you need to actually stop comparing any of the courses at the first place, for the simple reason my dear, that you your self cannot be compared with any one in the world!!!! You as a person, individual a very distinct and different person altogether and no body out there is like you even 1%.

I am glad that you approached CareerGuide for seeking guidance to your confusion and which I would term it as usual and common among students. So you may please not feel alone and tensed. Relax!

As mentioned earlier I would like to inform you that there is no BEST CAREER concept in the world. The only concept is whether YOU are best for a paricular career or no? And this is very important.

So when you get confused whether BSc or BA, then you should first try to find out and analyse your strengths, weaknesses, interests, likings, passion, personality aspects. These aspects go a big way in deciding your career as successful or unsuccessful.

Under the University system and rules, a science student can do a degree in commerce or arts. However a commerce or arts student cannot do a degree in science. Also an arts student cannot do a degree in commerce. Therefore, if you are HSC Science, you can definitely shift to commerce or arts field/degree.

Now this sifting should be very carefully decided and therefore I recommend you to under go a psychometric test. This test is a globally proven test and yields perfect results about your self and makes you choose the right career option. There are various selector tools available on which can be downloaded and the test can be done by your self at your home.

Best Luck

Hello dear student...

which is good Bsc or Bcom I would say, if you are good in physics, chemistry and mathematics than Bsc is good choice for you and if you do not like above and interested in maths, accounts than go for Bcom otherwise if you are good in literature subjects like hindi, English than go for BA.Apart you are asking which is good and which is bad, I would say it is not about good or bad its about interest area. you have to think and decide your career based on your interest areas than definitely it will be good for you.

Again you want to know that whether you can go for graduation in commerce being a science student, it is possible to do Bcom for a science student also no problem in that. But starting phase you need to develop your base in commerce field, for that you do some crash courses and introduction classes in commerce to be clear about the basics of the subject, than it will be very easy for you to move ahead.

Hope all above clarification answered your queries very well and now you can decide what is good for you and think in a positive way about your future. i would suggest you go for science filed only if already you are science student, why to change stream again and again. Just do little hard work and focus on onething rather than thinking abouteverythingotheroption.

Thank you for coming to us with your query.

All the best
