Hi there,

The answer lies in the question itself. Distance learning would mean studying at a distance.

Distance learning means where a student learns or studies on his own, without attending any classroom lectures on a day to day basis. The student is sent study materials from the institute where the student enrols. For the ease of the student, these institutes have study centres all over. Students having any difficulty can approach these study centres mainly during weekends and get their doubts clarified. These courses must be opted for only professionals because these  courses have no internship or practical exposure

These courses are for professionals who wish to upgrade their management knowledge and at the sametime wish to remain employed too.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck....

Dear Aspirant,

Distance MBA means no day to day classroom lectures in physical presence. In Distance MBA, books and study material is sent through online or post to the student. The student has to give exams online or in person at designated centres of the Institute offering the MBA Distance course. At times the exams can be taken at the will and time of the candidate however before a certain time limit.

Distance MBA is recommended only to those who are working in the industry for more than three years and wish to add management knowledge to climb in the career. Distance MBA should not be seen as a short cut to a MBA tag, but only as a necessity and at the appropriate time of the career journey.

Best wishes
