You can pursue Event management on UG & PG level.which means DEM (Diploma in Event Management after 12th) or PGDEM (Post Graduate Diploma In Event Management after graduation) There are two three good Event management colleges are available like NIEM (National Institute of Event Management) & EMDI Institute of Media & Communication. They have branches all over India & Abroad. Even Universities like Mumbai University also provide Event Management Course. The best part about Event Management field is you can work in Event & Advertising Companies or You can start your own Event Company or You can Freelance also as a Event Manager. But before starting your event career if you select your domain (means What type of events you wanted to work into) for example there are Personal Events (like organizing birthday parties, Weddings etc) or Corporate Events (Organizing Conferences, Seminars ) or Special Events (award functions, Ramp Shows etc.) will allow you to specialize in Event Field.And talking about valued jobs in Management first you need to identified your area of interest, aptitude and personality because nothing is more valued and less valued thing in Management (rather in any field) Every Field has its own scope and its own pluses and minuses.
