Cardiology is a branch of Medical Science that deals with the Heart and its related issues. In order to learn cardiology one needs to complete MBBS and than need to study the MD/MS/DNB which is of 2 or years.After that one needs to go for DM in Cardiology and for the specialisation in Surgery one needs to go for MCH in Cardiology .Both DM and MCH are 2 or 3 years.
Due to the increase in the heart patients day by day there has been a great demand for the cardiologists both in the private and government hospitals.While their are sub branches of Cardiology developed one can study any of them and can work in the particular area too.
