Hi Akanksha,

The best way to choose a career is by knowing ones own interest, skills and aptitude and merging it with their personality traits.

Instead of choosing on the basis of marks / percentages, friends or family, best would be to self introspect and then choose accordingly.

Hence I and many other career counselors suggests Aptitude tests so that students can be guided towards making a confirmed choice.

An Aptitude tests, gives you an idea about:

  • Logical Skills
  • Vocabulary Skills
  • Numerical Skills
  • Visualising Skills
  • Mechanical Skills.....

A knowledge in the above area willl give you an idea where your skills lie and a combination of the skills, would give you an idea what to choose

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck...

Selecting the right career option is one of the most crucial thing. In this competitive edge it has become very much necessary to be ahead in your career. With the growing world and competition many new career opportunities are available these days and they have a great demand and career scope too. Gone the days where only Engineering and Medical were considered to be the best career option. Even the Commerce,Arts,Fine Arts also have a good career opportunities along with the Science.

While selecting a right career one should always look out for some of the things about them-

1.Interest

In order to know about your Interest,Skills,Abilities,Perosnality  I would suggest you to go for the CareerGuide.Com Psychometric Ideal Career Test. This test is developed by the Psychologists and this will help to know where your Interest lies, What are your strengths and weakness,Abiltiies,Skills etc. and will guide you which career you should select and follow.

Remember while choosing the career option never follow your friends/parents. Its always advisable to go for the Ideal career Test which gives a clear picture about the right career option for you.

I hope you find this information useful and helpful.
