Biomedical engineering is one of the hottest career these days. the opening of the insurance sector has indirectly helped the healthcare industry. Anticipating the high quality medical care, which will be made available to millions of indians, there has been a steady demand for bio medical enginers in India. there has been an increasing use of combination of mediucine with cutting edge technology in the treatment of diseases. more and more doctors are utilizing the power cof computer and other devices such as mri scans, sonography devices etc . Therefore if you are good with both bilogy , maths , physics and chemistry than a career in biomedical engineering is just right for you. biomedical engineers apply the concepts biology as well as physivcs and chemistry to develop products and devices, which are used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The biomedical engineer works iwth other health care professionals including physiciansm nurses, therapists and technicians. There are various routes tyo puruse acareer in biomedical engineering

OPTION-1

10+2 ( PCM) - B.Sc Biophysics/ Biochemistry/ Mathematics- M.Sc Biochemistry/ Medical Physics/ Material Physics/ Biophysics- M.Tech Biomedical Engineering

OPTION-2

12th ( PCM) -BE Chemical/ Instrumentation/ Physical/ Mechanical/ Telecommunication- M.Tech Biomedical Engineering

OPTION-3

12TH ( PCB)- MBBS- M.Tech Biomedical Engineering


Adnission to allthese courses is mainly on the basis of entrance test both at undergraduate and post graduate level. However for some of the undergraduate courses, makrks obtained in class 12 is also a criteria
