Dear Friend,

Engineering is one of the most sought after career in current scenario. Engineering Can be in Mechanical, Computers, Civil, Industrial and many other specialization, for all the specialization an individual has to have following criteria full filled

  • A Student should have Maths as One of the Subject in Higher Secondary
  • He should have minimum qualifying marks in class XII in aggregate which depend on category to which a student belong to, the marks would vary from college to college
  • Student should have given any competitive exams, many exams are considered for the admission, major exams are : JEE MAIN ( old name AIEEE), State level exams like GUJ CET, MH CET, MPET etc
  • Many Colleges would want the forms to be filled up by student for applying to their colleges

If you have done all the above steps then you would be able to put your candidature for admission to college as per your score in class XII and Admission Test

There can be some relaxation to one of other conditions above from college to college.

I hope you have got basic idea on how to go about pursuing engineering.
