This field deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space exploration and defense systems. It is concerned with the designing , construction, developoment, testing , operation and miantenance of both commercial and miltary aircrafts, spacecrafts and their compnents as well as satellites and missiles. As this field of engineering involves designing and manufacturing of very high technology systems , the job requires technical as well as mechanical aptitude. The areas of specialization includes structural design, navigation guidance and control systems, instrumentation and communication, production methods or it can be a partcilar product such as military aircrafts, passenger plans, helicopters, satellites, rockets etc

. there are various career options after completion of aeronautical engineering . One can opt for a role as sceintist or technician. Scientist usually work in one of three places i.e. industrial research and development , private and government labs and acdemic research. Scientists are required for the discovery of new poducts and processes or to broaden the field of science by deriving or clarifing theories and concepts to be used by others. one can also work as an engineer. Engineers can opt for various roles such as manufacturing , flight research, materials and processes , designing and so on.
