Hello My Dear Career Aspirant,

Business Analysis and further Business Intelligence (BI) is a growing field. Over flow of data and information has made it necessary to analyse information and business happenings in order to make informed and correct decisions for organisations as well as individuals.

Business Analytics organisations, IT companies, Banks, Insurance, Mutual Funds all require Business Analyst. Business Analyst are known to be brainy and very comfortable with maths and logical reasoning and research capabilities.

As a fresher (who has done a business analytics course or courses like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)) generally start their jobs in the range of Rs. 20,000 - 30,000 per month. This is since they are freshers and learning theory of business analytics and performing actual job are different things and so companies take a cautious view and decide the salary in the median range.

Salary also depends on the company hiring it. Large MNC may pay more and medium-small companies may pay less, however ultimately the work is what matters at the end of the day.

I hope this would help you in a way to decide what you can expect as a fresher business analyst in a good company.

All the Best
