Hello student ,

Welcome to CareerGuide.com . The kind of salary a dietitian depends on a variety of factors such as work profile , professional qualifications, area of work, work hours and employing organisation. The average salary bracket ranges around 15000 to 18000 per month, and gradually increases with experience and practice. In private hospitals, research institutes, Food processing units,Teaching/ Coaching etc . offers good payment where as consultant dietitians in private practice earn more depending on their efforts. Candidates with Bachelor's or Master's degree earn more and have brighter prospects with ranges around 2.5 lakh to 5 lakhs per annum. Dietitians can expect an above average income with experience.

In addition to salary, there are other perks associated with this career , that can be a motivating factor for the aspiring dietitians such as ,autonomy in managing patients nutritional needs, untiring and less busy hours, interaction with a diverse population such as old age, mid age, students etc., all who rely on dietitians advice as well as working with other allied health professionals.

Hope this answers your query.
