  • Aspirants who are really interested in the marine filed can join Engineering courses so that you can secure a job.
  • BE in marine Engineering/Nautical science and PG Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are the basic qualifications to become a Marine Engineer.
  • The Minimum educational qualifications for pursuing a bachelor's degree in marine Engineering or nautical science is plus two pr Equivalent with high percentage of marks in science such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. These courses are of 4 uears duration.

Below are the Eligibility requirement to optfor Marine Engineering:

many students after 12th class continue their further studies in marine engineering due to the good job opportunities and pay they get after completing the courses.

Eligibility after 12th to appear for marine Engineeering Entrance Exam.

  • Should Pass 12th with PCM
  • Percentage required is 60% for most of the entrance examinations, if you require admission in a better colleges then you must try to score more than 75%
  • Should Submit the ceritificates at the time of admission
  • Age Groups should be between 17 & 25 years
  • Apply for the B.Tech Marine Engineering after 12th
  • Candiadates with good marks in their 12th class can apply for the test and can apply during the month of January as per the notifications. The Examination is held during Apri or May and can apply through online or offline mode.

Entrance Exams after 12th for B.Tech in Marine Engineering

  • The entrance Exam for marine engineering is organised at National level for admitting students to various colleges in the country.
  • Candidates who wish to join marine Engineering courses can take part in the AIEEE. The students can also attend IIT JEE, MERI, IMU, CET, AICET etc to secure admission for engineering courses.

Example II-JEE

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)conduct a joint Entarnce examination (JEE) every year for the admission to its B-Tech and other courses offered at teh IIT. A Candidate can sit for JEE only twice in consecutive years.
