Steps to prepare yourself for the job of an Air Hostess:

Know what the job is about –

  • The most significant duty amongst all is the safety of the passengers and to get them to point B from point A.
  • Also, the safety and security of the plane are in their hands.
  • Taking care of passengers having any sort of medical emergency also is the duty of the Air Hostess
  • To give instructions to the passengers regarding the safety measures.
  • If necessary to take the passengers to the emergency exit in any casualty.

Physical Requirements–

  • There’s no age for retirement, until unless you pass every medical requirement.

Educational Requirements –

  • Applicants who did not complete their high school, are required to have GED test: General Educational Development Test.

  • Once you are selected as an air hostess, then you’re given the training for around 6 months.

Experience –

Being a flight attendant expects you to have an amicable nature towards the passengers. If you have an experience of working at a call center, working at any public service place where you get to interact and help people gives you an upper hand from other. That helps you to tackle any situation at any point of time. As they say experience counts.
