Please note the generalist profile is considered the top most position for an HR role. In the beginning is the Recruitment role that an HR executive would play. Then based on ones learning and performances different roles like payroll or compensation, performance management and lastly training or rather organizing training programs are the different roles to be played. Beginning with talent aquisition or recruitment which is the next hierarchy is difficult to tell. But once the employee is well trained with all the subfields they may opt for an HR generalist profile or a trainers position.
