Of course many colleges in Mumbai offers you crash course in hotel management which is available online if ilist them then it will be a wastage of time for you so i would like to discuss the significances and imoprtant guilines which will relate you to the futuristic approach.

Crash course first of all not a core management program it is just like a diploma and certification based on a short tenure a month to one year course on several modules which can enable you to find a job for your survival; like diploma in cookery, diploma or certification in backerey, certification course in chineese cintinental etc.

It gives you a kind of training program now a days a hiuse wife also goes for such courses depends on the interest though one should maximize the chances of learning approach, of course there is noa age of learning and earning it depends on your comfortability when you give your best to know something.
These module based study program will lead you to the entry level of jobs in elite hotels in India. You can not expect the higher salary though you will earn the experience and in due course of doing such job you must continue youer study through e-learning or distance education, by that time you can afford the cost of your education easily.

In my opinion your idea is not bad to go for such crash course, just follow certain execrise before joing any institute.

1. Look for govt affliated institution which is more reliable in the sense of case study, some time tution fee is sponsored by any third party or govt itself. Thereafter your placement and further study could be assured if you perform in distinction. So must explore the website of Indian Institute of Hospitality and Management, Mumbai which offers you crash corses at national and international standard and gives you huge scope to get employed at large with a reach brand either in any airways company or five star hotel or any luxurious brand which require the specific skill oriented people. Institute like IIHM, Mumbai has very good repo with international brands and they come for the campus recruitment. For details you must explore the homepage: www.htcampus.com/college/indian-institute-hospitality-management/

Good luck

Hello My Dear...

I am very happy that you have decided seriously your career path and rightly approached CareerGuide.com for seeking guidance from the experts here. I am glad that you have started preparing for future at the right time.

Hotel Management is a fantastic and exciting and growing career option.

But My Dear, why are you searching for a crash course suddenly just when you are still to pass HSC? This is not good as per industry requirement.

Since you are in HSC this is the right time to pursue a full time course in a career option which you wish to be in as per your passion and liking. Never go for crash courses if you really want to build your career for long term and keep it growing. Do not take a short term view my dear... This will be a problem for you while getting a job if you do only crash course and you will be given only low level jobs and therefore very low payment but all hard work.

IHM Mumbai is one of the best Institutes to study Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Nutrition. IHM is nation wide known to offer quality and placement oriented courses in hotel industry. You can very sure and assured that whatever you learn there will be good.

There are no crash courses for HSC level students in IHM Mumbai.

I would ask you to pursue full time course in hotel management and choose a specialisation as you gradually progress in the course. After HSC, there are good courses offered by IHM Mumbai.

I am sure with this you will definitely make a name for yourself in the industry in the future.

Best Luck
