Dear aspirant
Welcome to CareerGuide.com
We are more than happy to guide you through to a perfect career.

Customer service assistant is a good option for any person and it is a different thinking. I like to talk to people with a different view point and you have a different view point. Normally people shun away from such a career mainly because of the status involved. But I think it is very good for people who are good at front office management and who are good at dealing with public.

Customer service assistant job needs people management and good communication skills and of course leadership quality. You should take a psychometric assessment test to know your personality, skill set, aptitude and attitude. You should know yourself. once known, you can polish your skills as per your career aspiration. Also you can correct your shortfalls. Better to know whether you have the required skills or not.

The starting salary for a customer service assistant could be anywhere around Rs. 5000 to 20000. it totally depends on the company, job profile, what type of people you deal with, your ability etc. Decide wisely.

Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for coming on this platform with your query.

Customer Service Assistnat gets salary starting from 7000 Rs. to 70,000 Rs. Hoever, this figure can very from place to place and City to City. Like If you are a fresher and looking for aJob in Mumbai as a Customer Service Assistant, you wll get 10,000 Rs while in the same Case if you are in Ahmedabad you will get 6 to 7 thousand rupees only.

Further if you have a good command over english and you have knowledge about some other languages also in addition the chanses of getting higher pay are more.

In this field, the main problem the companies find is to retain people. What is happening is that freshers who want experience in this filed will work for a 6 months and suddenly will change job with a higher pay. And they keep doing this from one company to another compnay and so on. this is the main reason the companies are not paying higher amount keeping in mind that they will leave.

Well this is not the scinario in abroad, where Customer Service filed is most highly paid sector or field there, they give tremendous importance to Customer Service Skills and therfore the pay rates are too high there.

The Customer Service field was/is and will always be in demand due to the fact that the business can only be run good only if you have a satsfied clients and in order to make them satisfied you need to be in touch with them or make yourself available 24/7 in their services so that you can meet up with their expectations in no time and also in emergencies.

It is always recommened that the person who wants to get into this filed must have a good command over english and must be having a diploma degree or a certificate under Customer Service Management skills.

There are many schools and institutions in ?India who runs such kind of courses. Having these degrees or certificates can help an individual at the time of getting their first job as a Customer Service Assistant and based on this they can also get a good amount of pay. If they have these experience and degrees or certificates they can get a good amount of money going forward in this particular field.

I am sure I have given your questions answer very well.

Best of luck,

Thanks,
Ravi
