Dear Aspirant,

Architect and IT Engineer are not comparable in any way. Its like comparing Oranges with Apples.

Average salary of a fresher IT engineer may start from Rs. 25,000. It also depends on the company and its scale of business.

Best wishes

Dear Aspirant,

Increments in any company depend on the below factors:

  1. Employee competence, training and delivery
  2. Organisation's business position
  3. Organisation's business expansion plans
  4. Economic condition
  5. Inflation

Every year generally 10% min increments happen in the IT industry.

You can enhance your salary after 3 years by switching jobs which demand more competence and have more challenges.

Best wishes

Hi Rohit,

Just adding to what the counselor Anandjee has written,

These days markets are not very high and industries prefer a one man show, hence costs cutting.

So the important thing is, look out for in-campus placement to get a good start.
At the same time, put in extra efforts to be productive and at the same time try being different from the others which will help you get a promotion and thus an increase in salary.

Wish you good luck...........
