Law is emerging as a fast growing profession. In these days of globalization and liberalization , it is likely to get further momentum as more lawyers would be required to handle cases arising out of international trade and as a result of growing importance of WTO.



Lawyers are held in high esteem in
a civilsociety as they render valuable service to all segments of the society by getting theirconstitutionaland legal rights enforced through courts -civil orcriminal, at all levels of judiciary , that is trial court, high court, supreme court or quasi judicial institutions.



Lawyers have the capacity for absorbing knowledge quickly and the ability to perceive implications which are no directly obvious. They need a quick brain which can come to grips with an intricate problem quite fast, lucid expression, a good memory for facts and faces, ability to instill faith and confidence in clients, the power of logical reasoning, analytic thinking, the gift of expression both in speech and in writing , tact, patience , sound judgment of character, an understanding of human behavior, tremendous self confidence, physical stamina, long concentration span , a powerful voice, the capacity to present cases with dramatic impact, a relish for verbal battles and respect and honor for law.
