Dear aspirant, I would like to appreciate you because you came on right platform at right time. As per your question that you are confused regarding what to do next ?Before answering your question, let me introduce myself. I am Career Consultant and Counselling Psychologist and I have been working in the same field for last seven years. As you have already done BBA and you want to ask, which one is better MBA or Charted Accountant after BBA.

First of all, I want to inform you that both options MBA and Charted accountant are good. None of them are bad or worse and its depend on you and your capability also. There are various reason which make MBA good or bad for you like: your personality attributes, Your capability, your Interest and from which college you are going to do MBA. If you have interest in Management, you have good personality, you have managing and convincing skills and you can take admission in good college or institute, which has good reputation in India, go ahead for MBA.

If your interest in accountancy, you are good with numbers , you are hardworking and sit for long time and you have analytic skills go for Charted Accountant.

Good luck!

Hello My Dear Career Aspirant,

MBA Finance is better than Chartered Accountancy is one of the most common confusions and dilemmas students face. In my more than seven years of career counselling experience, I have seen this kind of confusion in many students and actually this confusion is right in a way, since both the courses are similar in nature of finance, however are not the same or equivalent or substitute.

I am glad that you approached CareerGuide.com for seeking guidance to your career concern and would like to appreciate your calculated approach towards your career and also about the fact that you know that MBA does not gaurantee a job.

MBA and Chartered Accountancy,

As mentioned above, MBA Finance and Chartered Accountancy are often taken as substitutes or equivalent. However this is entirely false. MBA is more into management of finance and chartered accountancy is more into the technical finance and accountancy field.

I understand that you have done BBA and would now want to do a post graduation.

Passing percentage of candidates in Chartered Accountancy course is definitely less, but my dear aspirant, that makes Chartered Accountancts a class apart and more respected and reputed than a normal MBA Finance.

Also let me tell you the fact that many Chartered Accountants do MBA Finance some time or the other. There fore CA course is superior to MBA course in many points however is not comparable.

Though passing in CA exam is tough, if you have the determination, perseverance and positive attitude and sincereity to study well, you can do well in the exam and become a Chartered Accountant definitely.

Also aim for high and I am sure you will manage to become a Chartered Accountant.

Situation of MBA:

Currently many MBAs are facing huge problems in terms of jobs, since there is excess supply of MBA cnadidates passing out and the vacancies are limited in numbers every year. Where as supply of Chartered Accountants is controlled and is matched with the demand and hence their quality and demand remains good every year.

If you manage to pass your MBA from one of the Top 10 BSchool, then you need not worry about job, since good and reputed companies always go for top BSchools for recruitment and there fore you will be safe and secured in terms of your career and salary package.

Please do come back to us if you need any more advice or clarification. We would be happy to help you.

Best Luck!
