Please note, if you wish to pursue a Diploma, then you dont have to pursue 11th and 12th. Thus no stream as such would be required.
Admissions to a Diploma program is directly after 10th, based purely on your percentage. After that you could pursue a B.tech or B.E, whereby you are eligible for a lateral entry into the 2nd year degree course in any engineering college.
