500+ Career Options
1M+ Test Taken
Generally the immediate thoughts after doing a Btech degree is of MTECH or JOB. But there are other options including the above:
First as I mentioned if you are done with studying and need a break think of working. You can even apply for campus placements.Take a break, gain some relevant work experience and then you will have an extra edge over others.
Second, Pursue MTech-study your passion and get a degree in it.
Third, MBA degree:It is an option chosen by students. They opt for MBA and from technical want to shift to managerial positions.
Fourth, Civil services: Though it is tough exam to crack and there is a big competition to be a civil servant. There are many good options for you financially as per as position wise.
Fifth, Study abroad, you can pursue your further studies of MD and Phd and even if you want settle down there.
SO this are some the available options mentioned above. All the best!
Dear Aspirant,
After BTech, the first preference and priority you should give is for a job placement. Hope your college provides campus placements to your batch. Take full advantage of the same and try grabbing a job through campus placement. Here do not be very rigid in terms of job profile and salary and location. Always remember that as a fresher you are supposed to learn now in the practical world and gain that valuable experience. Ensure that you are good in English and communication skills to have a good impression in the interview.
If you do not get a job, then may be continuing education by doing MTech or a certification/diploma course related to your field is recommended.
Please do NOT opt for MBA, since after MBA you wont get engineering jobs. If you are interested in technical engineering domain as a fresher which is recommended, then look for gaining some certifications in technology, etc.
Best wishes
