Hey..

There are a lot of options available to you even though you have not chosen Math as a subject.

Since you have taken PE as a subject, are you willing to go ahead and make it a profession.

Though it is also the opted career for some, who wish to work as a gymnasts or a health coach.
You could opt for a Bachelors in Physical education called B.PE, which is a 3 years course, whereby you would be eligible as a health coach in future.
You may support it with other certificates or courses like Alternate healing, yoga, aerobics, Dietitian and so on.

But as far as the regular courses are concerned, after 12th, you could opt for the following courses:

  • B.Com: a regular 3 years undergraduate course, whereby you would be exposed to general subjects like Accounts, Book Keeping, financial management, statistics and so on.Post B.Com you could opt for M.Com or MBA or courses like Taxation, financial markets and stocks, banking etc.
  • BBI: Bachelors inBankingand insurance. This is a self financed course for 3 years. The fees for these courses are higherthan the regular courses. These are application and practical oriented courses. This course would make you eligible to work in banks and insurancesector, though banks conduct entrance exams forrecruitment.
  • BFM: Bachelors in Financial Markets: This is another 3 years Self financed course. This course would make youeligiblefor the stock markets and their dealings and otherfinancialrelated matters.
  • BMS / BBA: A 3 years undergraduate management program, whereby you would beexposedto basic managementideas. BBA is a Pune University course, but it is more practical oriented course.
  • BMS: A 3 years Media related course. This course exposes you to basic media functioning like Journalism, Advertisement, and Public Relations.
  • Designing: A 4 yearsundergraduatecourse in Designing, which would expose you to the basics of designing. You could choose from specializations like Interior, Fashion, Product designing and so on...
Choices are many. Here you would have to decide whether you have the required skills to survive in an industry.

Hope this answers your query.

Wish you good luck..

Hi Sukhmani,

There are plently of Good career options without maths and with or without commerce.

But first be clear about your interest. That is if you want to become a teacher you can go for higher Degrees in Commerce itself till your Ph.D and also clear NET exam. You become a Lecturer and it is a fulfilling career. You should love teaching.

If becoming a public servant fulfills your desire You can go for Graduation and further go for Civil services examination.

Let say you want to go for professional courses - there are plently of it. viz BBA/BBS/BMS, HM, TOURISM, LAW, CS, MASS COMM. Benefit of joining professional course enables you to start earning quickly at Graduation level itself.

The condition is Do from Reputed Institutes and you have atleast minimum skills required for it.

Let me pin-point some of them:
LAW : Law is no longer a thougt of Black coat in the Court which was prevalent decades back . Doing Law from National Law Colleges is very rewarding and lucarative as doing Engineering from IITs or NITs.
After 12th it is a Five year course which you can take after clearing enterance exam like CLAT, SET etc. National Law colleges have very good Campus Placements. So if you could get into anyone you will not have to worry about your career anymore.
Skill required: Good communication and critical logic thinking.
What is asked in the exam: 10th Level Maths, Eng, Reasoning both Critical as well as analytical, GK and Legal Aptitude.

So if this clicks.... go for it

Similarly if you believe you have interest in Business Management .....then go for it. It is also very lucrative and rewarding.

If you have flare for arts and if your are a creative person Designing is also very promising option. Skill set required is good sense of shape ,size colors, imaginative bend of mind.

MY SUGGESTION IS IF YOU ARE OPEN FOR ANY CAREER OPTION WHICH IS GOOD GO FOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ,LAW, DESIGNING AND MASS COMMUNICATION

Please let me know in which option you require further guidance in depth, i would gladly help out.

All the Best !!!
