You will be a fresher in the industry and definitely gaining work experience is very important at this stage. MTech will help you get good job profiles if you are confident and have command over the domain subjects along with soft skills.
Mechanical Engineers are the need of the time and definitely there are opportunities for mechanical engineers. To begin with do not be veyr choosy for your job in terms of salary or perks. Focus and give importance to what job you are being offered and what you will get to learn. More you learn at this stage for 2-3 years, will help you grow and keep growing.
