Interesting question. But it would be good if you could specify, what you currently doing?
Anyways generally speaking, t oursue a B.Tech course, a student needs to be 12th PCM qaulified. After 12th exams one would have to appear for IIT-JEE mains entrance exams, as B.Tech is offered only by IIT's.
I would also recommend, you to appear for CET, through which you would be eligible for a B>E course offered by other Institutes. Keep both the options open.
Also best would be to join coaching classes for JEE preparations. It would help you with shortcuts to crack the exams, and you would get used to the format too and would be exposed to previous papers too.
