Dear Aspirant,

Very good question.

As a Chartered Accountant, below skills and training will be beneficial in the long run:

  1. US GAAP training
  2. IFRS - This is much in demand now and shall remain for long time
  3. Tally software course
  4. Post Qualification courses by ICAI in Information Systems Audit, etc. You can visit ICAI website for other courses.

May be after having a work experience of 3-5 years, you can go for MBA Finance which will be a good combination for a Chartered Accountant.

Best wishes
