Dear Aspirant,

Scope for Petroleum and Chemical Engineering is good.

I would suggest do not compare courses like these since both are different and both have scope in their own fields.

Scope is to be created by expertise and cannot be given ready made.

I would suggest that you should decide the engineering stream based on your interests, aptitude and inter personal abilities.

Why dont you take the Engineering Stream Selector Test from CareerGuide.com? This is a psychometric test which will test your aptitude and interests and aspects which are necessary for specific engineering streams. The report gets generated instantly and it will suggest you your suitable engineering stream.

Best wishes

There is a wide scope and a bright future if you take either of the two. You may get a high profile job of an engineer in an elite class organization with a handsome salary package or else you may work as a scientist with R and D department of a reputed research based company, but before all this you must judiciously choose an institution for seeking admission, you may consider these names - Presidency University,......................CMR Engineering college, Hyderabad,........................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara
