Firstly, you need to understand the functioning of a chartered accountant, why you want to become a chartered accountant and do you have it in you to become a chartered accountant.
The time you think of a backup, means you are not sure about your decision; so deliberate over and over again, before reaching a decision.
Presuming that you are either a commerce +2 student or an undergraduate in Commerce(BCom) who plans to do CA or is doing the CA foundation course, the other available options are

I would say do not opt for a course because it is in demand. Rather choose a course because you are interested in it.
Best is to do a self introspection. No one better than you can know yourself the best. Sit back and analyse your interest and then make a choice.
Another way is getting an experience after graduating.

There is nothing like BEST OPTION. Therefore I would tell you BEST OPTION etc. Further there is no comparison possible between Chartered Accountancy course and other courses in the same field or domain, since every course is distinct.
You are also distinct and therefore I would not suggest you to waste time in looking for best courses. Since you are distinct, you need to look out what you have in you and according to that you should choose the course or career option.
Now that you are related to commerce field, there are many courses apart from chartered accountancy which are good. We need to however first find out what best and good you are at.
