500+ Career Options
1M+ Test Taken
Hi There,
Whether a course is good or bad would completely depend on personal choice.
It all depends on what you are looking out for, from the course. The course credentials, placements or opportunities for higher studies, course recognition worldwide etc.
For this you could meet the existing students and get an idea or meet the academic counselor and placement cell in the college, where you would get an idea.
At this stage, I would recommend, checking the Institutes credentials as to whether it is recognised by the educational board or not. Thus check the colleges website on: http://www.loyolacollege.edu/. Here check the "ABOUT US" rel="nofollow", you would get your answer.
After this the choice is yours.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...

Dear Aspirant,
Maths as a career option is fantastic. Maths majors or masters gives you an opportunity to work in IT, Banks, Insurance, Manufacturing, Engineering fields, etc.
BSc Maths from Loyala College is fine as far as it is under a UGC recognised Universty in Chennai. Further, I would suggest that you should also complete your Masters in Maths so that you become eligible for quality and high end jobs. You may later try for Actuaries profession which requires high calibre of Mathematics and statistics knowledge.
Best wishes
