Grant Medical College, Mumbai

They provide MBBS for 5 years. This college is also included in the top colleges of India.  Being a government college, their fee is very less around 50,000 per year.  They take admission through NEET exam scores. They produce a merit on the basis of the applications received by the college. This is also the top college for medicines in India. They also take MHCET as their admission process, this exam is of 200 exams. If you score around 180-170 you have chances to get admission in this college. They have no seats for management quota. Eligibility criteria are that the student should have 50% marks in their 10+2 & that English as a subject in 10+2 is also compulsory.

Seth GS Medical College

This college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Seth GS Medical College is one of the prestigious institutes for education located at Mumbai. This is a college with a total capacity of 180 students per batch. Established in 1921, it is located in Parel. They take both MHCET as well as NEET scores for admission. They also provide for a course of Doctor of Medicines, for which the fees is around 98,000. For the undergraduate course of MBBS, they have fees of 1, 03,000. This college is also located in Parel.  For admission, minimum eligibility is 40% in 10+2.

KJ Somaiyya Medical College & Research Centre, Mumbai

This college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. They have total seats. Admissions to these courses are done on the basis of Merit list declared by State Government conducted Common Entrance Test (MH-PG CET and MH-CET). They also accept scores of NEET & MHCET exams. This college is located in Sion. This is a private university. They also provide courses of Doctor of Surgery, Doctor of Medicines & Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. This is a private college having seats for management quota. Their fee is around 7, 40,000Rs.

Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC), Mumbai

They have a course of MBBS with a total duration of 5 years & 5 months. Their total fee is around 4 lakhs. They take admission through NEET scores, & then produce a merit list based on the application received. The fee structure is as decided by the municipal corporation of Greater Mumbai. Currently, the fees for MBBS course is around Rs.70,000/- per year for open category students and Rs. 12,000/- per year for backward category students. 85%of the seats are reserved is through merit rank holders from Maharashtra Undergraduate Medical entrance examination, rest of them is through All India Pre Medical Entrance Test.

University of Mumbai, Mumbai

 

Mumbai University has 711 affiliated colleges and six different faculties i.e Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Technology & Sports. They have a course with a duration of 5 years. Eligibility criteria for this course are of 50 % marks in their 10+2 with any board, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Other than MBBS they also provide a lot of other courses.

Topiwala National Medical College (TMNC), Mumbai

Another top college of MBBS in Mumbai.  Candidate must have obtained not less than 50% mark in PCB. The duration of the course is 4 years & 6 months.  They give admission to students on the basis of scores of NEET & MHCET. They also provide a lot of different courses in medicine.  For MBBS they have a total capacity of 120 students.  This college is located in Dr. A.L. Nair Road, Nerul, Mumbai. Their fee is around 76,000Rs.

MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Mumbai

In total, they have 150 seats for MBBS course. They accept both NEET & MHCET scores, then they produce a merit list, on the basis of which they take admissions.  The total duration is 5 years. They also provide Doctor of Medicines & Master of surgery.  They only accept MHCET scores, an exam conducted by the Maharashtra Government. This college is located in Navi Mumbai area.

HBT Medical College & Dr. R N Copper Municipal General Hospital

They provide MBBS course of 5 years & 5 months, they were established in the year 1969. They are a private institution. They take a fee of 83,000 per year.  They accept the scores of MHCET.  Minimum eligibility for admission is 50% marks in 10+2.
