Secondly both are Medical professionals.

My question to you is which one are you interested in????

Let me begin by a little description of both the courses.

B.H.M.S: Homeopathy medicine is not like any other form of medicine. The main purpose is to eliminate the problem from the route. Its main aim is to eliminate the issue from the root, mainly by developing ones immune system. As i said it differs from other forms of medicine, mainly because here the doctor takes in an entire demographic details of the client in concern and not only gives medication but also discusses changes in their lifestyle right from what they eat to their thinking pattern to exercising. Hence this is also sometimes called Alternate medicine.

BHMS, is a 4 1/2 years course, post 12th Science, whereby 1 year is dedicated to internship.
The best part about pursuing this course is that there is no age limit to practice and one can get into their own practice immediately after obtaining their degree and can work from home too.

B.O.T: Occupational therapy these days is very much in demand especially by school going children. Since most of them have not made good use of their fine motor skills, this is where the OT steps in. Though they are mainly dealing with the mentally and Physically challenged individual. These individuals are born with major muscular dysfunction, which through certain exercises can be brought back to normal functioning.

OT is a 4 years course, post 12th. Mainly Institutes conduct an entrance exam followed by Personal Interview to be eligible to pursue this course.

After the course, one is eligible to begin working with hospitals, clinics, schools, rehabilitation centers. With few years of experience one can begin as a consultant too.

Both the BHMS and OT, requires

• high level of Patience,
• reasoning capacity,
• ability to foresee issues,
• convincing capacity and
• good communication skills

I have listed down what the course is all about, different responsibility and the skills required.

Now the choice is yours.

But in-case you are confused still, it is advisable to undergo an Aptitude tests that will highlight your strengths or potentials and help you make a better choice.

But mind you both the courses are very much in demand these days.
