Interesting question. Biotechnology is a science that combines technology with biology and includes new inventions in the field of science.
Biotechnology is an extensive field and can be seen in all areas of life right from the food industry to animals to plants to microbes to humans to pharma industry.
Since it is widespread, its applications is seen in terms of production or manufacturing of medicines or injections to tissue culture, pesticides etc.
Now it is your choice, which field of biotech are you interested in. Please note it is a research oriented job. 3. Immunology: as the name suggests making or finding injections that prevent diseases
4. Pharmacology: invention of a new drug or medicine
5. Food and technology: manufacturing of organic and reseach into existing food and its effects
6. Agro based: finding and research on innovative method of agriculture . Research on soil, pesticides and fertilizers etc
