In general it is said that one should choose a specialization for higher studies based on their degree. It adds value to the basic qualification.
But please note there is no hard and fast rule.
As such I would suggest based on your degree, opt for a course in cooking and become a chef or opt for a personality development course and become a trainer or opt for a course in drinks and beverages and opt for a bar manager position.
Please note with a degree in hotel management, you could opt for the travel and tourism industry and cruises or the ship industry.
As such a hotel also has and runs other departments simultaneously like finance, hr, marketing, logistics etc. Pursuing an MBA in any of the specialization with your degree in hotel management would be an added advantage if you apply to the hotel industry.
You could also pursue a course in Hospitality management.
Last but not the least you could pursue any course right from fashion designing to web designing to animation to mass media etc. But see to it that you choose based on your qualification and most importantly your interest.
