Hi There,

Firstly let me tell you what does MBA stand for.

MBA, as students see it, as just an additional degree that will help them getting a high paid job and position in an MNC, is definitely a wrong concept. Though in the long run students who understand the true nature of their studies mould themselves accordingly.

MBA is purely management studies.

It is a tool that equips professionals to function as a manger in the organization and carry on the tasks associated with it.

But let me ask you a question here:

  • Can someone who has no idea about the basic job, function as a manager?
  • Can a fresher who has no experience just passed form a reputed B-School, be able to lead a team off experienced seniors?

Though we say, managers are born, but those skills needs to be polished and that is why we join a B-School and focus on the experience part of it.

Thus any specialisation, whether HR or Marketing, requires experience or internship program, firstly for students to understand the concept, which is theoretical, and secondly, to unleash their potentials.

Hope you have understood the concept.

Wish you good luck....

Dear Aspirant,

In India, for doing MBA you need not have work experience. Executive or Part Time MBA course only requires work experience since it is meant and designed for working professionals who are expected to do it along with a full time job.

In abroad, many Universities ask for work experience for MBA admission.

Best wishes
