You are a veterinary Doctor and wish to do MBA? May I know the reason for this and do you feel that an MBA will help you really in your career?

You don't wish to continue in Veterinary field? The reason for asking these questions is that I am not clear why you wish to go for an MBA which will help you may be in the field not known or exposed to you ever before. This is a really drastic decision you are thinking of.

For deciding the stream of MBA, I would call it as Specialisation, it cannot be suggested just like this. The first year of MBA in every B-School is common to all. The second year is of specialisation. Since you come from a totally different background (non commerce/arts), it would be best if you take admission to MBA. Learn and get exposed to the first year of MBA and based on the likings you develop in that first year for a subject, then decide the specialisation.

First of all I wanna say thank you for your generous reply. In every field there is need of administration skill and companies asking for veterinary graduate with MBA like in meat industry,and pet food industry.So I am clear about my decision all I want to know is what is the best option for me in MBA,in the matter of subject we have course on economics and i have some familiarity with that, and I am a hard working guy so I can over come the problem you quoted.

Personally, Meat industry or pet food industry, the main knowledge is of veterinary and nothing else at the end of the day. You may do MBA in General Management instead of finance or hr or marketing.
