Your observation may be good, but not true. Though there may be girls seeking dependency on boys for a bright future and this was very true years ago, but in the 21st century this is not everywhere. Girls are making their mark everywhere and making everybody proud by their work and dedication.
If some girls are depending on boys for a better future, then it is absolutely their choice and this is not a generic thing.
