Penetration testing or as it is commonly called "Pen testing", involves attacking ones own or the clients IT System to identify security loop holes. It is similar to a hackers job, but here you have the legal authority from the company end.

As it works with the security system of the office it mainly involves finding loopholes in the system and securing it right from servers, endpoints, web applications, wireless network, network devices, mobile devices and other forms of portable exposures.

Security breaches can be very costly to companies and can affect the growth of any organization, so such penetration work is important.

Coming to your question, Since you are an MCA graduate who has complete knowledge of systems, hardware and software and its applications, so this course is just an addition to your degree, and when the company is ready to employ you and train you in the course, its like an added advantage. And to top it you have got a call from NSD, the top security forum.
Since its a new field, companies to save themselves from losses and save their security team are going to hire Penetration testers. It would save their time and effort and man power.

Moreover you have something new to offer to organizations apart from the regular MCA degree. So no looking back, go ahead take the chance.

Wish you all the very best.......
