Looks like there is more confusion from your end, as you are listening to friends more than deciding for yourself.Firstly it is very important that you have a Graduate degree, whether you do it in Fine Art or in Textile designing.As a Fine Art graduate you would specialise in painting, photography, ceramics painting, graphic designing, sculpture making and others. It is a 3 years degree program, whereby you would have to clear an Entrance exam for pursuing the course.Post that you could get a job in any private or public sector of your choice or you could begin on your own as an artists.Y
