Ans:

You may choose - Medical, Engineering, Marketing even Administrative services. It provides more options than taking any humanities/commerce subject.  Anyone from Science can still opt for career which is chosen post completing arts/commerce, however, it may not apply Vice-versa. Its advisable to study Science till 12th for keeping several options open.

For Medical, its important to study Biology till 12th Standard. Clinical Trials -Analysis is an area where even statistician may apply. However, opportunities are less and they prefer people with relevant bio/biotech background. Marketing Research may be an option (Do MBA) wherein you may join any healthcare/pharma company post completing degree. But role would be around - Service or Product management, marketing, communication and/or sales.

You may need to do MTech, Mphil and then PhD.  One needs to appear in entrance exams for doing PhD.

You may explore jobs such as in Public Affairs - Most companies have now CSR or Govt affair departments. Public Relation companies also require experts having background in regulatory affairs. You may check.

Hi, It depends upon what would you like to do - further studies and be an academician or join a company or a job? For being in companies, professional courses such as MBA etc are more useful. PhD is suitable if you are interested in being Scientist in a pharma company /Get into teaching. All the best!
