Hello Shreyas,   Interesting. To pursue a P.HD minimum requirement is a masters degree followed by a group discussion and a personal interview.  Some Institutes ( NIMHANS, especially for P.HD in Clinical Psychology) require submission of paperwork related to the topic you wish to pursue Research on. Based on the approval of a guide, admission to a research program follows. But good would be to check the Institutes website or call the Institute regarding its eligibility for P.HD   Wish you all the very best for Masters degree currently and later on for P.Hd
