Can a person studying metallurgy enter into IT industry?

I'm doing my engineering in metallurgy & knw languages C& java.can i get into software /IT industry after completion of my studies. Shld i learn anymore extra languages or are these enough?

Hi Sam,
You can easily enter into IT industry. You can get into TCS,CTS,Infosys, Accenture etc . Improve your knowledge in database, C++ along with C and java,web designing.
These will help you to get job in IT industry very easily.
Try to get place in your college itself.
