Please note data science and analytics is a course that helps a business grow in terms of gathering data and analyzing it using algorithms and statistics. Thus as you see there would be a lot of focus on your reasoning and quantitative ( math) skills. And yes Symbiosis is a recognised University worldwide and their courses are job oriented. So if you are keen on making a future in IT especially using reasoning skills then you could opt for this course.
Anyways this course is an MBA 2 years course. If you pursue this course and become a management graduate, then which other course would you like to study abroad.
Think twice before making a choice. The aim must be qualitative study because as you have mentioned you are an academically brilliant student. Make optimum use of it.
