Till date, we have heard of product designing or Fashion designing and most commonly Interior designing.




Jersey designing is completely new and a unique idea.


Unless and until you mentioned it, I have never even thought of it.

Answering your question.



As such there is no course specillizing in Jersey designing.


But do not worry. You can be the tend setter.




After 12th, you could opt for a degree in designing. Mainly Fashion designing.


Though there are certificate and diploma courses available for the same, but they would land you up with small time local designer jobs.




But a degree and that too from a reputed institute will land you up with the Fashion divas and there you could make a name for yourself.




So post 12th, you would have to appear for an entrance exam, which would mainly check base on your creativity and visualization skills which a touch of uniqueness and within limited resources like time and materials provided.




Once you clear the entrance exam, then you would have to clear the Personal Interview and Group discussion round and then begins the courses which is for 4 years in row.


For the Personal interview be ready with question like Why this course, what are your dreams???? and all such regular questions,. Your answers needs to be different but at the same time convincing. Best is to be well read about the latest trend in fashion and the mentality of the people about the fashion world.




Post degree, you could begin working, better would be to work with or in collaboration with the top notch Fashion designer. After that slowly slowly get into your own designing.


Once the masses begin to know you and you have made your name, people would relate to you and you get calls from top people.




The reason I am telling you for a course in Fashion Designing is because the course would give you an insight into the Texture or materialsavailable, ways to identify materials, colours and its co-ordination with different fabric, materials and designs or printing that can be used and so on...




Herewhen you begin on your own, you could specialise with Jersey only.


Then if you are interested in Sports jersey, which should be your goal. You could then meet the Sports committee and lay down your proposal.






As such it would be definitely few years of struggle, till you could establish yourself in the market.


But definitely, you could be a trend setter and may begin a specialized course in the coming years all by you.
