To pursue an MBA course, one needs to be a Graduate with minimum 50% from any field.
in-case if you are not very sure, which specialization in management you wish to choose, then getting into the industry, getting experience in a department and then depending on the needs of the department pursue an MBA.
Just being a Graduate is just one criteria to study MBA. The student needs to clear Entrance exams both All India level ( CAT) as well as State level exams (CET). You can opt for Private Institute exams ( NMAT, XAT, SAT) too
After you clear the entrance exam, next would be the Group discussion followed by Personal Interview.
To clear the Group discussion, one needs to be well read as well as have good articulation skills. Whatever you read, you must be able to express it. Read everything right from historical to political to sports to general topic related books. Try to discuss it with family members and or friends, but see that it does not end with arguments.
In terms of Personal Interview, be ready with all basic questions like Why MBA, why this institute, Where do you see yourself 5 years in future??? etc. Though answers are very common but the uniqueness in which you answer would make a difference.
You could join coaching classes that can help in clearing the entrance exam.
