Please note that Honors is the most toughest course. As the subjects are more indepth. At the sametime a student needs to submit a thesis as to their understanding of the course at the time of Graduating or else the certificates are not handed over to the student. Also the thesis is a comprehensive view of the 3 years and hence every year is important.
Due to all this an honors degree is more valued in the market but due to the level of difficulty students opt for a regular 3 years course.
