National Institute of Open Schooling i.e NIOS is one of the schooling which is being approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU and it has given the recognisation to the NIOS courses with those other recognised Boards. NIOS school is an approved board same alike other boards like CBSE,ICSE,State Board etc. It is one of the biggest open school in the world and is accepted by majority of the Universities in India and Abroad.

While in order to get admitted in foreign universities especially UK you need to give exams of IELTS or GRE or TOEFL and after that you can take an admission in the UK as per your interest. In UK you wont have a problem with NIOS board to get admission. Many of the Foreign Universities do consider the NIOS board studies. While you can also write to the admission department with regards to this and can get it confirmed with them. So you can also give a thought for further studies in other countries too.
