Thank you so much Ms. Meghna Mukherjee. I am working for The New India Assurance Comppany Limited. Our company HR found that the MBA course offered by Periyar University is not AICTE approved and informed us. Out of my own interest I raised the query to know more details about that. Very kind of you to reply immediately. As I already finished MBA, is there any option to opt for only writing the examination of AICTE approved MBA from any other institution with some exceptions like that.

Different companies have different hiring policies.
Some of them stress on taking employees from an A grade colleges only, while some are more focused on the individual talent that the employee carries with him.

But you have nothing to worry about.

Since your Qualification is from a B+ accredited University, noty just a B, you definitely have a degree from a well recognised University.

As I had earlier mentioned, you could take a print out of the particular page and show it to your HR team and then they cannot nullify it, as University cannot fake the accreditation.

Also after reading your query, I checked the MH-CET website, the University has been listed down under their recognized quota, so you have that weapon to your aid too.
They cannot disagree to your degree being recognized.

As far as your other question being that if you could re appear from an AICTE approved University, the answer is " Yes", but that would involve a new set of investments and studies again.

So do not worry, your MBA is definitely industrial recognised.

HR for some silly reasons to stop promotions play such false games with their employees.
But you have the proof from the website.

Still as a last resort, if after the proof also they disagree, you can then take help of the UGC and NAAC board with the help of your University Admin head.
